APPOINTMENT INFORMATION

How do I book my appointment?

Once you submit your payment, you will receive an email with a link to our online scheduling system. Here, you will be able to see all available appointment times, and choose the one that is best for you.  Please note that we do not book appointments further out than five weeks, with the exception of clients who purchase multiple appointments and wish to secure a regular appointment date; these may be booked up to six months in advance.

Please schedule your appointment as soon as you purchase it: If you have not scheduled your appointment within two weeks of the date of purchase, then we will not grant a refund. Additionally, the appointment must be used within one year of the date of purchase; after this time, your appointment has expired and you will need to purchase a new appointment.

If you are a new client, then please also fill out the Intake and Consent Form and email it to us prior to your appointment. We must receive a completed form from you before we will call you to begin your appointment. healing faqs

Can I book more than one appointment at a time?

Yes, you may book as many appointments as desired; however, we only schedule appointments five weeks into the future (with the exception of clients who purchase multiple appointments and wish to secure a regular appointment date; these may be booked up to six months in advance), so your appointments would need to be used within this time frame.

Should you wish to book an appointment further out, you will need to wait until it falls within the appropriate five-week time frame, or contact Jen and she will schedule the appointment for you.

How many appointments will I need?

The answer to this question depends on your needs, your goals, and your budget.

Generally, multiple appointments are needed in order to facilitate deep healing and evolution. However, Put The Light Here offers clients a wide variety of products to supplement their one-on-one appointments; products include monthly group healing calls, self-study mini-courses that include guided healing meditations, distant energy treatments (called “Energy by Email”), and crystal jewelry and accessories designed to support and partner with you. frequently asked questions

What should I expect in an appointment?

During an appointment, Jen pulls from her diverse set of skills, training, and tools in order to give you a) what would assist you in that moment and b) what you are willing to receive. Generally, we discuss what is important to you at that time, perform energy work, and identify tangible steps that you can take after the appointment in order to continue your process.

That said, during the times when we work with Spirit and the higher realms, the appointments tend to begin with a desired goal and flow on an unpredictable yet perfect path. Often, what is revealed are things we did not even know to ask for, but which give us what we need at the soul and physical levels. If you are open to the guidance of your Higher Self, then some amazing and deep work can occur.

Fundamentally, the appointment is for you and is therefore in your control. If there are specific tools that you would like to experience or a specific type of energy work that you feel would benefit you, then please inform Jen at the beginning of the appointment.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

There are several things that you might wish to do to make sure that you receive the most benefit from your appointment.

First, schedule some time (perhaps 15 minutes) before and after the appointment for a transition period. Prior to the appointment, sit quietly and set aside what has occurred so far in your day, become present with how you are feeling at this moment, identify what your intentions are for the appointment, and, if it is right for you, then call on your Higher Self to be with you during (and even after) the appointment. You may also wish to give your Higher Self permission to facilitate all work that is right for you at this time. When the appointment has completed, use the 15 minutes to review what occurred, review any notes that you took, feel into any emotions or sensations that you are experiencing, and determine what step(s) you are willing to take next. Then, when you feel ready, begin to bring your awareness to the rest of your day.

Second, it is useful to take notes during your appointment, to remind yourself of key pieces of information that arose. You may therefore wish to have writing materials available.

Third, make sure that your physical body is comfortable. Eat if you feel hungry, nap if you become tired, exercise if you feel nervous, and generally do what feels right for you. However, please make sure that there is no alcohol or recreational drug in your system; Jen does not perform energy work on an individual whose system is under the influence of these substances. Doing so is neither effective nor safe.

Can I postpone (reschedule) an appointment?

If you contact us 72 hours prior to the start time of your appointment, then yes, you may postpone or reschedule it. The new appointment must be booked within five weeks of the original appointment date. Please note that Put The Light Here will provide a postponement only two times for the same person within a 12-month period. Three or more postponements within a 12-month period will not be granted nor refunded.  healing faqs

Can I cancel an appointment and receive a refund?

We only issue refunds within two weeks of the date of purchase of an appointment. Additionally, within this two-week period, we do not grant refunds within 72 hours of a scheduled appointment. Please be sure, at the time of purchase, that this is right for you. If you are unsure, then please book your Free Consultation.

Also note that this website uses PayPal for its transactions, and as of May 2020, PayPal keeps its processing fee when issuing a refund.  What this means is that PayPal will issue the refund, but will keep approximately 3% of the total amount of the purchase, including any taxes paid–you will not get this back.  Again, we encourage you to make sure that the purchase is right for you, prior to making it.

If you have purchased an appointment and need to postpone it, then please see our guidelines for postponing (above).

All Services purchased must be used within one year of the date of purchase; after this time, they have expired and are no longer available for use.

We do not grant refunds after Services have been rendered.

Will my appointment be recorded?

We do not record appointments, nor do we allow them to be recorded.

Will my health insurance plan cover my appointment?

It is best to check with your insurer: There are some companies that will cover energy treatments (such as Reiki), but they are currently few in number.

The millennias-old practices of energy healing are gradually being recognized by Western medicine and insurance companies as valid forms of treatment.

What happens to my appointment if the phone service isn’t working?  For example, if there’s a power outage, cell service outage, Internet outage, or a weather-related event?

On May 21, 2022, Jen’s city was hit with an intense storm that destroyed much of the hydro and cellular phone infrastructure. Ottawa residents had no phone, Internet, or power for days; some for weeks. Jen herself was without any phone/data/Internet coverage or power for 30 hours.

Thankfully, the storm occurred on a Saturday, and Jen had no appointments scheduled during her time offline. However, it’s possible that either Jen or yourself will one day be unable to make it to an appointment, for reasons outside of anyone’s control.

Jen will always call you precisely at the time of your appointment. If your phone does not ring, then please check that your phone has plenty of clear cell coverage, that your ringer is on, and that your privacy settings will allow a call from an Unknown/Private number. Then, check your email: If Jen has indeed called but not gotten through, then she will send you an email to this effect; she will then continue to call you for 15 minutes.

If your phone has not rung *and* you have no email from Jen (please check your junk mail), then there may be a problem on Jen’s end. You may want to check the news for Ottawa, Ontario, which is where Jen lives. If there has been a storm or other event, then she may be unable to contact you at all.

In this case, Jen appreciates your patience and understanding. She will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule the appointment.

If a weather event or outage happens on your end, then Jen understands. Please contact her as soon as possible, and she will reschedule your appointment.

It is also true that cell phone service is unreliable for no clear reason, and this is happening especially since the pandemic began. There are times, for example, when circuits are busy and calls simply do not go through. Unfortunately, this is just part of our reality. If this type of technical issue occurs at the time of your appointment, then please know that Jen will reschedule.

Does Jen work with just anyone or are there situations where she would decide not to work with some people?

Jen has the right to refuse to work with a potential client or existing client, for any reason, including if that client is unsafe to work with. If Jen decides not to work with someone, then she will process a full refund of any existing appointments that they have purchased; should that person choose to purchase subsequent appointments, those appointments will not be honoured nor refunded. Jen is not required to disclose why she has chosen not to work with someone.  If you are not sure whether you are right for Jen’s practice, please book a free phone consultation.

ENERGY WORK

What does it mean to be “healed”?

The following is Put The Light Here’s definition of “to be healed”: “The complete and permanent removal of that which was considered to be problematic or undesirable.”

What is your definition of “energy healing”?

The following is Put The Light Here’s definition of “energy healing”: “The use of energy and the deliberate manipulation of non-physical portions of existence to bring a person, place, or thing closer to the state of being healed.” (For the definition of “healed,” please see above.)

The modality called “energy healing” has the ability to affect: the soul; the aura / energy field; the physical body; the emotions and mental health; energetic connections between people, places, and things; locations, beings, soul fragments, and levels of consciousness all across the Cosmos; and all of Creation itself.

“Energy healing” is therefore a catch-all term that encompasses the more-specific techniques, tools, and lineages of energy workers. Included in this catch-all term are (benevolent): Shamans / Shamanic practitioners; Reiki practitioners; Qi Gong practitioners; Presence Healers; Yogic Masters; Angelic healers; Mystics; Priests / Priestesses; Witches / Warlocks; Magicians; Hypnotherapists (certain styles); Meditators; and more.

Anyone who deliberately manipulates the non-physical world, and who does so for benevolent purposes, with permission from their subject, and with the intent to bring that subject closer to their stated goal of being healed, may be considered an Energy Healer.

Because Jen has studied numerous styles of energy healing, she practices all of them simultaneously and therefore uses the term Energy Healing rather than aligning with a specific modality.  healing faqs

Do you guarantee that I will be healed?

No. And best is to not hold this expectation (of anyone). Healing is a process, and it is you–as well as the Divine and Time–who is in control of how close you will get to the state of being healed.

What Put The Light Here offers your process is support in accordance with our abilities, and support with the intent to help you get closer to your stated goal.

What does it feel like to receive energy healing?

This answer partly depends on the level of yourself at which the work occurred. For example, work on the soul itself is not always felt immediately by the person, as the energy only filters into their physical reality over time. However, work on the physical body, emotional body, and energy field is indeed often felt in real time. This may feel like a sense of calm, peace, and warmth is coming over you. Some people report feeling tingling or buzzing sensations in their bodies.  If lower-vibrational energies have been removed, then you may feel lighter—as if a literal weight has been lifted from you. Feelings of confusion can be cleared, emotional overwhelm can be calmed, pain can be dissipated, and more according to what has occurred for you.

What kind of self-care advice do you have for someone who just received energy healing?

Our bottom line is always this: Do what feels right for you, in each moment. As well: Your body will tell you what it needs.

That said, here is some general guidance:

  • drink water;
  • consume nourishing substances (such as clean, organic, healthy foods; or nutritional supplements);
  • rest as needed;
  • move as needed (such as light walking or aerobic exercise);
  • explore what is happening in your inner world; write it down, talk aloud, converse with a trusted loved one;
  • since energy work often brings buried issues to the surface, allow any releases—such as emotions or digestive clearing;
  • spend time in a quiet environment; reduce the external stimuli in your environment (such as noise, people, visual media, and even activities on your to-do list);
  • protect yourself from the reactions of others, since the people close to you may be triggered if they feel that your energy has changed; and,
  • make sure that your Higher Self is with you; ask it to help you and to offer guidance.

Are there dangers associated with energy healing?

Yes. Energy practitioners, by trade, have the ability to manipulate your energy field, physical body, soul, and life as a whole.

The quality of the energy work depends often on the quality of the person doing it. And it is possible to be harmed by the work, either accidentally or deliberately.

Best is to think of an energy healing treatment as equal to having surgery on your physical body, and to therefore consider a healer as equal to a surgeon. Ideally, interview your potential surgeon. Ask them about their qualifications and continuing education; their skills and limitations; their protective measures; whether they can, and then how they would, address your condition; and whether their heart feels that they are the right person to assist you at this time. Then follow your instincts about whether or not to invite this person to work on you.

Because Put The Light Here recognizes energy healing as a serious practice, we invite you to have a free consultation prior to booking your first appointment.  healing faqs

Will you do energy work on my loved one (spouse, child, friend, pet, etc.)?

Put The Light Here does not perform energy work on any individual without their direct consent. If you wish to purchase energy healing for a loved one, then Jen will require that person’s permission, given directly to Jen by phone or in an email. If permission is sent by email, then we reserve the right to verify by phone that the person indeed gives their consent. Energy work makes adjustments to a person’s energy field, physical body, and soul; it is a serious procedure. It is therefore not something to do to a person without their consent.

However, we do acknowledge that there are some cases where it is difficult to get a person’s express consent, such as if they are unconscious for a prolonged period of time or otherwise incapacitated. These cases will be considered individually. Please contact us with your request, or schedule a free consultation to determine whether we may assist you.

If you are the parent of a child who might be in need of energetic assistance, then we believe the child has the right to provide their own consent. Please therefore explain clearly to your child what energy work is, and then ask the child if they would like to receive it–and when. We suggest that your explanation include reading Put The Light Here’s definition of “energy healing,” and/or provide an age-appropriate interpretation of that definition.  As well, please know that we are all connected energetically; a child often benefits when their parent/guardian receives an energy healing treatment.

Do you work on animals?

Put The Light Here has indeed facilitated energy work on animals. It is not our specialty. You are welcome to submit an explanation of your needs and we will let you know if it feels right to take your case.

Since our entire practice is based on consent, before we take any animal cases, we would need you to talk to the animal, explain that they have an opportunity to receive energy work, and clearly and directly ask them if they wish to receive it. You will know whether they say yes or no.  healing faqs

Can I listen to an energy-healing meditation more than once?

Yes. If you have purchased one of our Self-Study products that contains a guided meditation with energy healing, then you may listen to it as often as it feels right to you to do so.

Each successive time, you may wish to set a new intention for that listening; or repeat a previous intention that still seems to need work.

Please use caution when using all of Put The Light Here’s meditation products and always do what feels right to you.  Best is to start slowly: If you try the meditation once, then allow ample time for the effects to create shifts in yourself and your life, and for all of these to integrate completely before repeating the meditation.  healing faqs

CRYSTAL JEWELRY AND ACCESSORIES

Why do you single out Moldavite as being your signature stone?

Moldavite is a special stone: It is one of the few stones that did not grow inside of Mother Earth. Rather, Moldavite was created when a meteorite from outer space entered Earth’s atmosphere and crashed into the land. This happened more than 14 million years ago. The stone, then, has otherwordly origins. Because of this, Jen personally feels that Moldavite is here to be a bridge between the two worlds: Earth and Above.  As well, some refer to Moldavite as the Holy Grail.

Metaphysically, this green stone carries a very high vibration. It has the ability to awaken a person spiritually. For the already-awakened individual, it can help to take their energy even higher.

Moldavite’s high vibration also provides a shield of protection that pushes away lower energies.

It is a rare stone. It is otherworldy. It is high vibrational. And it is a stone for the times we are in. Jen believes that everyone deserves to have a piece of their own, and it is for this reason that all tangible items created by Put The Light Here come with our signature Moldavite charm.

For a full description of Moldavite, please see our Metaphysical Properties of Crystals page.  healing faqs

Why do you use Swarovski crystal?

Jen was 12 years old when she first started collecting Swarovski crystal. That was the early 1990s, when the company was fashioning animal figures out of spheres and adding eyes and a tail. The crystal drew her in so much that every special occasion thereafter was celebrated with at least one new piece of Swarovski.

Over the years, her collection expanded to include the larger pieces, including those reserved for members of the Swarovski Crystal Society, whose magazine she read eagerly when each issue arrived.

Jen so loved her Swarovski crystal that she was most delighted when, in about 2008, the company made a pen; a regular, household item that glittered with crystals and allowed her to bring her love for Swarovski crystal into her everyday life.

Now, she is pleased that her relationship with Swarovski continues in the form of beads, which she is able to share with everyone. All of the leaded crystals that are used in Put The Light Here’s products are certified Swarovski. Because to Jen, they are the best, and they are old friends.  healing faqs

How do you prepare your stones for sale?

We use a four-step process to get the stones ready to be used in making products.

  1. Jen hand washes the stones with water and a light, organic soap. This removes any physical residue that may be on them, and the running water begins to cleanse their energy.
  2. The stones are laid on a tile made of Shungite. Shungite is a stone known for its exceptional abilities to cleanse negative energy, particularly Electromagnetic Frequencies (EMF). Shungite also offers protection.
  3. The stones are then laid on a special piece of Selenite. This stone is also known for its excellent cleansing abilities, and, Jen feels, also helps to unlock the natural properties of the stones.
  4. Lastly, she places the stones inside of a Tibetan singing bowl and use the sound waves to facilitate a final cleansing and recalibration of the energies.

Why do you use four steps to clean and cleanse the stones?

The goal is to remove from the stones all that is not natural to them, which includes physical debris as well as energies that have attached to, or been programmed into, them. Once the stones are restored to their pure state, then their spirits are able to inhabit the physical stone more fully. For this reason, the process facilitates for the physical stones an energetic upgrade, allowing their highest potential to come forth.  healing faqs

Do you charge your crystals with energy (such as Reiki energy)?

No. Jen does not add foreign energy into the crystals. The only exception is when a buyer requests that their product be imprinted (with energy from either their Higher Self or our Crystal Skull).

What Jen does to all stones used in Put The Light Here products is to remove (during the cleaning and cleansing process) all energy that is foreign to the stone, and then to upgrade the stone’s potential to hold more—and higher versions of—its own natural energy. You are therefore getting the stone in its pure, high-vibrational state.  healing faqs

Why would I get my crystals imprinted (either by my Higher Self or by the Crystal Skull)?

Imprinting adds another layer of energy to a crystal.  It has the potential to amplify a stone’s inherent abilities, or simply to enable the stone to offer you extra benefits, which would come in addition to its natural properties.  Imprinting is a personal choice, depending on your needs or what feels right.  healing faqs

Why is my crystal a different color than I expected it to be?

Crystals were created over millions of years by Mother Nature. Even though a stone is of the same type, and even comes from the same mining deposit, it might have a different appearance or color from another of the same stone. This is just how nature makes them. Even so, Put The Light Here does our best to inform you of what you are buying–before you buy it–so please take note of the photos and descriptions to make sure you are choosing the right product for you. If you have questions or concerns about the appearance of a product that you wish to purchase, then you are welcome to contact us.

It is also important to note that crystals are sometimes dyed in order to give consumers a product that better matches their visual expectations. Therefore, stones such as Rose Quartz, whose natural color ranges from off-white to dark pink, are sometimes dyed. Put The Light Here does not use stones that have been dyed (unless otherwise noted in the product description).  healing faqs

How do I care for my crystals?

Put The Light Here includes Crystal Care Instructions with every crystal product.

Please note, however, that our guidance represents only general guidelines.  Each type of crystal will have its own need, and it is best to do research to determine what your item requires.  For example, some stones are best cleansed by soaking them in salt water, whereas other stones will dissolve in water, making this option potentially harmful to the crystal.  healing faqs

Will my silver jewelry tarnish?

Yes, it will tarnish, but only because all silver tarnishes. This applies to both silver plated pieces and sterling silver pieces. Put The Light Here therefore includes a tab of anti-tarnish paper with all pieces that include sufficient amounts of silver. This tab helps to slow the rate of tarnishing. For items that use significant amounts of silver, such as chain necklaces, Put The Light Here includes a small silver polishing cloth; this enables you to care for your item at home.

Please note that silver will tarnish at different speeds depending on your environment, how often it is worn, and the acidity of your skin. Detailed instructions on how to care for silver may be found online.

What is the difference between silver plating, silver finished (or gold finished), and sterling silver?

“Plating” metal involves coating a base metal (often copper) with a thin layer of the desired metal. This process makes the precious metal more affordable. However, it also means that the layer of plating may eventually wear off.

“Finished” metal is similar to plating but involves a thicker coating of the desired metal. It is more costly than plated metal, but the coating will last longer. When creating gold jewelry, Put The Light Here uses finished gold. This results in a product that will last longer in your care than gold plating, but is significantly more affordable than solid gold.

Sterling silver is a blend of 92.5% silver and 7.5% of another metal, usually copper. Because pure silver is too soft to be used by itself, it is mixed in this way to form a compound that is harder and better suited to be used in jewelry and accessories. As much as possible, Put The Light Here uses wires, chains, and earring findings that are made with sterling silver.  healing faqs

Do you make custom orders?

No, Put The Light Here does not make custom orders at this time.

I have arthritis in my hands and I would have difficulty opening the clasps on your products.  Can you accommodate me?

Yes. It is important to us that our products are accessible to everyone who wants them (to the extent possible). If you need a different option for closing the item that you wish to purchase, then we have two options for you: We could remake the item altogether and add a closure that you are comfortable with; or, we could add a second clasp to the existing piece–which enables you to use the clasp that best suits you on a given day.

Please contact us to discuss the type of closure that is best for you. Generally, we use “lobster claws.” Other options are “toggles,” “hook-and-eye closures,” “S-hooks,” “box tabs,” and “magnets.” We do not carry all of these options in stock, so we may need to special order it for you. You will be charged for the wholesale cost of the new clasp, the wholesale cost of the labor, and, in the case of remaking an item, the wholesale cost of all materials used and discarded. Payment in full up front is required before we begin to modify a piece.  healing faqs

Do your malas have a guru bead?

No, malas made by Put The Light Here do not have what is known as a guru bead. A guru bead is bead number 109, and malas are tools used by people to say, typically, 108 repetitions of a prayer or mantra. The number 108 is a specific and spiritual number, carrying a specific and spiritual vibration. Our malas therefore have exactly 108 beads.

Why do Keychain Malas always have 11 stones?

As with the number 108, 11 is a meaningful number spiritually and when using numerology. The number 11 is considered to be one of the Master Numbers, and it symbolizes Spiritual Enlightenment.  All of our Keychain Malas have 11 beads, unless otherwise specified.  healing faqs

SHOPPING & SHIPPING

Do you sell gift certificates?

Yes, we sell gift certificates for our appointments.  Shop for gift certificates here.

Do you accept returns?

No, Put The Light Here does not accept returns. This applies to digital downloads, tangible products (such as crystal jewelry and accessories), services, and all of our products. Instead, we provide you with detailed information on each product and on our values as a brand, and ask you to make the decision that is right for you.

If you are unsure of your decision before you make a purchase, then you are welcome to contact us with your questions. healing faqs

What happens if my crystal product becomes damaged or broken?

If, within the first 14 days of receiving your Put The Light Here-made crystal item, it breaks due to faulty construction, then we require that you contact us within 48 hours of the break. Please include: a) at least one photograph of the item and its pieces; and b) a full description of how it broke.

If we conclude that the breakage occurred as a result of faulty construction on our part, then we will invite you to send all of the pieces back to us via regular mail, within 48 hours of that conclusion. Upon receipt, we will recreate your item using the pieces that you send us, and return it to you via regular mail. We will intend to have your product back in the mail within 7 days of when we received it.

Please note that, with crystal products, some breakages occur as a result of the crystal’s energy interacting with the user’s energy. This is relatively common; necklaces and bracelets have been known to explode—sending beads flying—and single stones have been known to break apart. Depending on the stone, this sudden breakage can sometimes result from being overburdened with negative energy. If Put The Light Here feels that this is the reason why your item broke, then we cannot fix it for you. We do, however, provide you with Crystal Care Instructions that include techniques to keep the energy of your stones clear, and invite you to follow your intuition as to whether, when, and how to use your stones.

What happens if my crystal product becomes damaged or broken after the first 14 days?

Put The Light Here certifies that we use high-quality materials and tools to make our products, and that we do not use stones or beads that have noticeable defects. However, please note the following:

  • While our chains, cords, and wires are designed by their manufacturers to endure long-term wear, their longevity depends on how they are used and treated.
  • Additionally, stones are natural products and they can, indeed, scratch, chip, or crack apart. We include Crystal Care Instructions with every crystal purchase, and recommend that customers become familiar with each of their stones and how best to care for them.

Once an item has left Put The Light Here’s possession, it is no longer in our care and we cannot guarantee it after the first 14-day period.  healing faqs what does it feel like to receive energy healing what does reiki feel like

OTHER IMPORTANT QUESTIONS

Why do you mix together Coaching and Energy Healing in the same appointment?

For true success, the two modalities of Coaching and Energy Healing are inseparable.

Coaching is intended to help a person reach their goals (be they personal or professional). As part of this process, a coaching session will ideally uncover behaviors, patterns, or obstacles that are hindering the progress. The root of such issues, however, are often embedded at the level of the soul. A coaching session might help to address the issue for this lifetime, but it is energy healing that has the potential to address it at deeper levels and throughout all time. This allows a greater level of progress, including to allow the newly lighter soul to rise to a higher version of their intended goal.

Similarly, people seeking energy healing often wish to be healed of an issue. Healing is generally only possible, however, once the reason for the issue has been identified, and once any lessons that the issue was intended to teach have indeed been learned. When these considerations have been fully integrated, then the issue can be let go of and healed. It is the dynamic of the coaching process that helps a person to comprehend why their issue was with them, and it is coaching that gives them the tools and support needed to integrate the revelations into their soul and life.

Energy healing is also used to upgrade one’s energy level. In this case, the coaching process is used to ensure that the person knows how to bring their habits and lifestyle in line with the higher form of energy that they seek to embody, as well as to understand how it may change their life and direction.  healing faqs

What does it mean to be “trauma informed” and “trauma sensitive”?

Being trauma “informed” involves knowing: what it feels like to be traumatized or to have Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD); what happens in the physical, emotional, energetic, and soul bodies when trauma occurs; what a person in that state needs from their life and from other people; and what types of words, actions, and guidance are helpful—and which are actively harmful.

Being trauma “sensitive” means putting all of the above-mentioned knowledge into practice. This involves creating a safe environment, in which all people: are enabled to have full control over their bodies, feelings, and life; are invited to participate—only if and when it feels right for them to do so; have their right to privacy and anonymity respected; receive guidance at the level that they can handle, including in tiny increments; are celebrated for their accomplishments; and are never made wrong.

In this moment, much of our world has been traumatized in some way. There is no need to add more trauma, control, or forced activity to people’s lives. Jen therefore provides an entire practice that strives to be sensitive to the needs of all souls. All work is consent based, provides clients with information on which they may make their own decisions, and invites rather than persuades participation. You are welcome to share your needs and sensitivities with Jen prior to working together; she will do her best to accommodate you, including to let you know if she is not well positioned to assist.

Please note: Jen is not a medical doctor, nor does she dispense medical advice.

I want to get help but I feel so overwhelmed and lost that I don’t know which product to choose. What would you recommend?

Jen would recommend “Energy by Email.” The amount of effort that you would need to expend is minimal: Simply purchase “Energy by Email” from the Shop, include a description of how you are feeling, and Jen will facilitate a distant energy healing on you as soon as possible. Once the session is complete, she will send you an email that describes what occurred.

Important: If your situation would benefit from medical attention, then please visit a medical professional.

In what ways would an existing healer benefit from being mentored?

Creation is vast, and there is always more that we can learn—for example, more wisdom, more understanding of the mechanics of how energy functions, more techniques to employ, or more issues that a client could present with. As well, the energy field of this planet is evolving, requiring healers to keep up with all of the updates and upgrades in order to be current. Further, as the planet’s field evolves we are also being exposed to greater parts of reality; dimensions, matrices, beings, levels of consciousness, depths of darkness, laws and guiding principles, and subtler energies. These realities may be wholly different from—and more complex than—what we are accustomed to. As healers, we can attain a certain level of understanding and remain at that level, or we can continue our education in order to work with the expanding possibilities and most current energetics. The mentoring process enables the latter.  healing faqs what is a lightworker

What is the Shaman’s Illness?

What is a “Lightworker”?

A Lightworker is someone whose soul has chosen to come to Earth for the purpose of bringing more light to the planet.

There are two general forms of Lightwork: passive and active.

Passive Lightwork occurs without the conscious and deliberate participation of the grounded person. It is often through their very presence—and the frequencies that their soul emits—that light is brought to the Earth; the person may not be aware of this fact. Indeed, their life and career choice may have no overt relation to the concept of “bringing light” to Earth.

Active Lightwork, conversely, occurs with the conscious and deliberate participation of the grounded person. They are choosing to bring light, and are taking actions toward this goal.

Along the passive-active spectrum are a wide range of activities and intensities. A Lightworker may fulfill their goal through smiles and kind gestures everywhere they go; through joining group meditations that intend to raise the vibration of the Earth; through sharing channeled messages via the Internet; through welcoming Light to pass through their body for the purpose of anchoring it into the planet; through opening gateways or holding gridpoints along the energy field of Gaia; through deliberate clearing of negative energies; and much more. Lightwork can be a hobby, a part-time job, a full-time job, or something that takes over one’s life completely.

“Lightwork” therefore takes many forms and is done for a wide variety of reasons and even agendas. Yet all true Lightwork has the same underlying intent: to increase the amount of light and love here on Earth and throughout Creation.

Have you ever refused to work with someone?

Yes. Anyone who causes harm or seeks to cause harm to me is unwelcome in my practice.

It is an unfortunate reality of our world, and the world of energy and spirit, that there are malicious beings who prey upon, take advantage of, and seek to destroy, healers and other good people.

In the uncommon instance that I refuse not to engage with this type of person or energy, I am under no obligation to provide an explanation.

If that person has purchased anything from my business and that purchase is still outstanding, then I will refund it in full; subsequent purchases will not be honoured nor refunded.
