Knowing versus Embodying
There is a difference between “knowing” or being able to recite a Teaching, and embodying the essence of that Teaching.
The point of most (if not all) wisdom is indeed to become it.
To digest it and let it change us from the inside. To change our behavior. To change our habits. To adjust the direction of our life. To eventually emanate the essence of the Teaching.
That is the point. That is the credential. That is when we know we have succeeded.
When we have *become* the wisdom and it drives our actions.
Not when we have merely memorized chapter and verse.
Choose a Teaching that resonates with you. Then do the work to become it.
