WHO cares about traditional medicines
Here’s some interesting news: The World Health Organization (WHO) is interested in integrating traditional medicine (TM) into global health initiatives.
Partly because “nearly 90% of WHO Member States…report that [up to] 90% of their populations [already] use TM.” Also because…it works?
They’ve therefore launched the “WHO Traditional Medicine Strategy 2025–2034.” See some of the details in the slideshow below:







Now, should we take this with a huge dose of salt and skepticism given that it’s a bureaucratic institution run by humans? Yes. But is it a potentially helpful development for everyone? Also yes.
