When you sit in silence, and all is calm within yo

When you sit in silence, and all is calm within you, and you are receptive---in a position to receive---then you may find yourself connected to absolutely all that you are.

Your Higher Self, your soul, the Cosmos, and Source Itself; the Source from which you came and which you ultimately are.

It is all connected. It is all one energy. Just with offshoots that we call "you" and "me"; but all one nonetheless.

And when we are silent, we can experience it.

That's what I love about Yoga. (Not Asana; Yoga.) It recognizes who we really are: limitless. So much bigger and more powerful than we think.

Have you ever had an experience in meditation where you felt the Divine? What was it like?

Imagine feeling that all day---24/7. That's what the Yogic teachings guide us to do.

The more still you become, the more connected you are to that higher and more peaceful reality.

If you're ever struggling for guidance or don't know what to do, then get quiet and go within. Let the answers come to you.

And if you need a reminder to quiet a worried mind, then read Sutra 49. It helps.

On Friday, September 12, more than 100 vendors and

On Friday, September 12, more than 100 vendors and 2,000 people in Ottawa's mental health community will gather at the Royal Ottawa Hospital for the annual Working on Wellness Festival.

The intention is to demonstrate "what a fully integrated healthcare system can look like."

A fully integrated healthcare system of course includes energy healing methods.

So, I'll be there and I'm excited for it. I'll have a booth set up to share how energy healing can help the mental, physical, and spiritual health of the people we serve.

If you're in town, please come by---11am to 3pm. And if you know anyone who's going, have them stop by my booth to say hi.

Hi from the running trails!

I've started running on Thursday mornings. (Courtesy of my running partner---thank you, Kristi! I didn't know if you wanted to be on the Internet, so I didn't post our joint selfie.)

I've therefore shifted my hours on Thursdays to start at 12:30pm.
