For those who are trying to learn discernment, this is a good metric to determine whether that "spiritual teacher," "guru," "healer," or "lightworker" is legitimately what they claim to be:

**Have they actually done the hard work to do their own inner work, or not?**

Also: To what extent have they done it?

Did they dig deep, endure suffering, face their darkness, take responsibility for what they've put into the world, and come to a place of healing, authenticity, and humility?

Or did they just do a couple things here and there and are calling themselves...whatever their ego has decided to call themselves for the sake of becoming popular and/or profitable?

True spiritual growth and enlightenment require effort.
